Frederico BC born in January 1985 in Lisbon, Portugal. The privilege of growing up in a musically evolved family environment made him to be contact with great names of worldwide music. It happened at 14 when Frederico BC was preparing to go on holidays and by an accident took on his travel bag a Frank Sinatra disc. From that moment on his life change radically and lived his adolescence listening songs and discovering great musicians like Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, among many others.
2001 - 2007

Years later when music was a paramount for his life, Frederico BC joined to the music school "Juventude Musical Portuguesa", where he took lyrical singing classes.
The lessons learned by Frederico BC during his time in school allowed him to meet Baritone Rui de Luna, an artist of the prestigious AIM (Artists International Management, New York) a reference in the international lyrical world. Frederico BC works, during long years, his voice in her classes of style and vocal technique.
2008
LONDON
The perseverance and the need to meet other social and musical worlds, led Frederico BC in 2008, through an audition, to apply for an annual course for vocalists in a prestigious music academy in London. It was an excellent opportunity to communicate, meet and receive teachings from influential people in the world of music. Frederico BC had the pleasure to work with them on different sectors, such as musical styles, ensemble, music theory, ear training, harmony, sight singing, song writing, stage techniques, singing practice, studio outline, and technique of instruments (piano and guitar). He had the opportunity to play in one of the most prestigious halls of London town, the legendary room O2 Empire in Shepherd's Bush.
During his growth as a musician, in Portugal, Frederico BC has incorporated some musical projects in the most varied styles: Rock, Pop, Hard Rock Projects, among others. Musical projects which Frederico BC did not identify himself. Projects where he was not feeling full and where his ideologies did not make sense.

BAND
In this way, the need to share and bring their ideas to the public has made Frederico BC created an ambitious project called Frederico BC With Swing Affair Band. A project focused on the disclosure and interpretation of the greatest American swings, Portuguese hits and original songs. This musical project o has already been present in some of the finest Portuguese stages which highlight: Casino de Lisboa, Casino do Estoril, Casino de Espinho, Casino da Figueira da Foz, Casino de Tróia, Hard Rock Lisboa), Xafarix Bar (Lisboa), Templários Bar (Lisboa), Speakeasy Restaurante Bar (Lisboa), Hotel Tiara (Lisboa e Porto); Hotel Ritz (Lisboa); The Lake Resort (Vilamoura), Vilalara Thalassa Resort, (Porches). Entre outros eventos corporate para empresas, como, Jerónimo Martins, Vogue, Peugeot, Whirpool, Sonae, among others openings places.

LIVE IN LISBON
The success of this project has made Frederico BC and Swing Affair Band record a DVD in 2012 in two mythical spaces of Lisbon nightlife (Templários Bar and Xafarix Bar). Frederico BC bet on a daring and informal concept, but creative at the same time. This was something that was never before experienced and edited in Portugal.
2009-2012
1ºÁLBUM
In 2011, in addition to the work already done, Frederico BC began recording his debut album. The experience and learning built as a musician, not only in Portugal but also abroad, made him throw himself to the more challenging goals. Frederico BC debut album (Vagueando Só) contain 9 versions and 4 original songs, released in January 2013 on major online music platforms (iTunes Music Store, Google Play, Spotify among others…). The album portrays Portuguese music from the mid-twentieth century to the present day. As a consequence of its success, almost all the songs in the album are now in the ear of the Portuguese music lovers and because of its massive acceptance, the singles, Vagueando Só and Blues Fado can frequently be heard in Portuguese radio stations and the Portuguese people discovered a new Maria (Vida Fria).
THE GREAT
SHOW
The success of the first album led Frederico BC to perform a marvelous concert in 2013 in the former TMN ao Vivo, today Armazém F, in Lisbon. In partnership with Radio Marginal and Saudade Records, The so called, Great Concert, showed to the audience a little more of Frederico BC career. The alignment contained songs from his first album and also some songs chosen in accordance with repertoire that Frederico BC enjoys most and that influenced his style and performances since the beginning of his career namely swing. During the live recorded show on a full house, Frederico BC enthusiastic audience also enjoyed the participation of Argentinean star Lucía Echagüe and Marco Rodrigues considered one of the best Portuguese Fado singers.

In October 2108, Frederico BC release a new album called “Do Outro Lado da Rua. An album with 12 original songs, totally sung in Portuguese, that bet in a strong production, with over half a hundred people involved between Portugal and United States. The Debut show was in November 2018 in a mythical Lisbon room, Capitólio. Frederico BC up to the stage with 13 musicians, and presented to the full room the songs of the most recent album but didn’t forget his journey and their roots, completing the repertoire: with songs from his first album, with a crazy version of Taylor Swift song, and with a tribute medley to Frank Sinatra.

O Concerto de apresentação do álbum " Do Outro Lado da Rua" decorreu no dia 10 de Novembro 2018 na mítica sala de espectáculos de Lisboa, Capitólio. Com o apoio da Antena 1. Frederico BC, apresentou-se em placo com 13 músicos, onde apresentou as músicas deste seu novo álbum. Com casa cheia Frederico BC não se esqueceu do caminho percorrido até chegar a li e compôs o seu repertório com músicas do seu primeiro álbum, abanando também o público com a interpretação de um tema de Taylor Swift e um medley de tributo a Frank Sinatra.

Em 2021 Frederico BC apresenta o seu primeiro álbum de Natal um EP chamado Epic Christmas que é um tributo a alguns dos melhores clássicos americanos de Natal. Totalmente em inglês e com irreverentes versões próprias, Frederico BC apresenta-nos um EP de espectro alargado com músicas que vão desde o conhecido All I Want For Christmas de Mariah Carey, aos ainda mais conhecidos Carols de Natal como, Let it Snow, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Winter Wonderland, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas entre outras músicas. Músicas que se tornaram conhecidas em vozes como as de Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby entre outros.
mbora desta vez em inglês, o artista português continua em concordância com o que fez em álbuns anteriores, unir gerações e famílias em torno da música, que, mais uma vez neste Epic Christmas, aparece requintada e destemida, mas simultaneamente de linguagem directa que fez com que Frederico BC apresentasse este trabalho nos mais prestigiados programas de televisão em Portugal.
